- Will Great Lengths damage my hair?

- How long will they last?
- How long will the hair color last?
- Will Great Lengths have the color to match my hair?
The Great Lengths keratin bonding process will not damage your hair. The bond is applied using the Great Lengths applicator, which uses less heat than a curling iron. The applicator simply molds the bond around your natural hair and leaves it cool. The bond is so small and light weight that it is virtually undetectable and causes no stress on your natural hair.
With regular maintenance, which includes brushing daily with a Great Lengths special extension brush, Great Lengths will last 6 months. As your hair grows, the bond will naturally grow out with your hair. Proper treatment, such as using the Great Lengths Wetlines after care products that are specially designed for Great Lengths extensions, will extend the life of your extensions.
Great Lengths go to a lot of effort to preserve the cuticle layer of the hair to protect the hair’s colour and integrity. The cuticle of the hair is the hard, outer layer which acts as a protective barrier for the softer inner structure and is the first line of defense against all forms of damage. You can expect that as long as the extensions are in your head, you will see no noticeable fade.
Great Lengths comes in over 50 colours and shades. Great Lengths Certified stylists are trained extensively in colour matching. Because Great Lengths is not treated with bleach or harsh chemicals, the result is fade-resistant, shiny, healthy hair that looks and feels like your natural hair.
